In 120 acres of parkland and with its own 18-hole championship golf course, The Lodge offers free wireless internet access, free parking and superb leisure facilities, including an indoor pool. Located on the entrance to the golf course and sat in parkland the site has excellent facilities, The Lodge at Meyrick Park is great for a relaxing and restorative break or perfect base for work. As well as the impressive golf course, the relaxation facilities include a 19-yard indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room and a well-equipped gym with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. Guests can use the Health and Fitness Club free of charge throughout their stay. Children's swimming times are Saturday and Sunday 3pm-6pm. There are 17 rooms with attached bathroom that are all different in configuration which adds to the character of the building. All with Hypnos mattresses, TVs, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. The Lodge is supprted by the Health Club where you will find reception, Pulse Cafe Bar serves breakfast, snacks and meals and all guests have access to the extensive health club facilities. The Pulse Cafe Bar offers a range of light and healthy meals and drinks, with a terrace that can be covered and heated if the weather changes. Breakfast is a Continental Buffet with hot food cooked to order from our menu. It also includes tea or coffee in a cafetiere. Positive: We were disappointed with the room we were given, right at the front of the property where some cars were parked and felt it was not private. The room was dingy and small, with dark curtains, no space to move around. The bathroom was ok, but very small. We found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping were good and the staff were very friendly. We didn’t like that staff could enter the room when needed. We had a parcel delivered to the hotel, whilst we were out and this was left on the bed. I was expecting to pick this up from reception. My work badge was also left on the bed, as this was dropped outside the property (this was very much appreciated, but should have been given in to reception). Dining staff were amazing and also the class we took Mind and Body, was excellent. We didn’t realise that the classes were included in our stay and only made use of this on the last day. We would like to especially thank Magdalena for going out of her way and let us know what places we could go to, we appreciate you. We enjoyed Bournemouth and will come back.

Summary: Enjoyable stay, but did not like the room, small, dark and not private.

Positive: It’s the perfect place for calm and relaxed holiday. Many thanks to hotel staff, they were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with king sized bed which was so comfortable. We also enjoyed hotel territory with fresh air and pines and spa facilities which includes swimming pool and sauna.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and accomading. We loved the facilities. Nice pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Gym looked great. Our room was a nice size. Had a great shower. Breakfast was delicious. We would come back again. Loved our stay.

Positive: Everything from the moment we pulled up the driveway. Reception staff was amazing. I had forgotten to put on my booking request that we would need an adapted room and no stairs to our room. The staff were so accommodating, as I did get a bit emotional as I had booked this spa night away for my mum as a treat as she has knee problems. They instantly swapped all the rooms around. And had our room cleaned ASAP. They really did go above and beyond. X

Positive: A comfortable room within a lovely lodge, our room was clean,tidy, comfortable and welcoming. The bar/restaurant was well laid out and not too busy, the food was of a good tasty standard and as expected for the venue. Ideally located for a walk into Bournemouth.

Negative: Full Breakfast was included with our booking and included tea and coffee. On our first morning a Cappuccino with breakfast was not an issue. The second morning, a different server and I was told a Cappuccino was extra money and I could only have black coffee or coffee with milk !!

Positive: Lovely Room, amazing facilities, fantastic value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Was only a one night stay but we utilised the pool, spa and gym - all really excellent facilities. The bar is great, we had lunch and dinner there and both were really nice and very reasonably priced. The terrace outside was very peaceful and ambient allowing us to have a few drinks and relax after our spa and again after dinner. Breakfast looked good but we had to head off and leave early so only had time for a quick coffee in the bar. We were proactively told that we could stay on there all day and enjoy the facilities after check-out if we wanted to…..we wish we could have, and will do next time if we can. There was a slight problem with the bar till/computer so unfortunately I was unable to charge bar purchases to my room at that time, staff were extremely apologetic and we were given a couple free drinks each for “the inconvenience” but there really wasn’t any inconvenience it was fine - HOWEVER the gesture was VERY much appreciated, thank you! I have been coming to Bournemouth for a number of years and used to live near by, but had never heard of Myrick Park Lodge before this stay (just knew the golf course was there)- so for me this is a complete hidden gem! I/we WILL be returning SOON…. with my golf clubs next time! Already exploring partner clubs/accommodation near Oxford where I now live.
