Summary: The facility is nice and location is great. This particular room could be improved. The hallway in which the room stayed was near a banquet room or the staff break room, which had a very strong smell of food throughout. Inside the room also had a smell of mildew or potentially urine. It could use a cleaning and updating. The showers weren't the nicest either. Fortunately it was only for one night.

Summary: We hated this room. Eagle Crest Lodge rooms are very outdated and gross! Our room had NO lights in the living room (not even a lamp). Old carpet and couch. The kitchen only had (1) fork. The shower was gross, with rusty hardware (I wore my sandals in the shower and didn’t touch anything!) Hair and ants (bugs) on the floor. The bed headboard was all scratched up. We asked to be transferred to another cleaner room and they had none available. We didn’t want to stay another night but because we booked on hotels.com (third party) they could not cancel, discount or refund the room. I tried to contact hotels.com through the “Live Chat” and could not get through to a live person. The live chat and contact us link just took me in circles. We also booked and paid for a golf course view and we could not see the golf course from our room on the first floor. Instead we had a hedge that blocked the view completely. We paid $630 for two nights! What a ripoff!! Very disappointed!!!! The property was nice but I wouldn’t stay at the lodge ever again.

Summary: My wife was traveling with me on a business trip so we reserved a room for a moderately good price through hotels.com that welcomed pets. Our german shepherd was traveling with us. We expected to pay a pet fee but were surprised when they told us it would be $50.00. We expected the room to be decent because they charge such a premium, make you sign the most extensive pet policy I have ever signed and inform you that you will be held financially responsible for any damage or messes your pet creates. That is reasonable except they don't appear to use those funds to make pet caused repairs(an example the leather headboard was absolutely shredded and appeared to have been that way for some time). I don't suppose I would have felt inclined to leave a review over this if the night clerk had not seemed bothered by our arrival. I can't picture returning even considering the very friendly morning staff and very beautiful grounds.

Summary: Check in process was slow and we were told our room would be ready in an hour 3 hours in a row. Housekeeping services are only available for 4 night stays. I would expect more for the price we paid. We stayed here several times years ago and felt it has not kept up with the quality of service. The grounds are beautiful however.
