Welcome to our luxurious new Lodge in Duck Creek Village, Utah. The Lodge consists of six different themed units. This unit is our BEAR themed unit called "BEAR CAVE."
This second story unit is a 3 bedroom, 4 bath. Enjoy all the comforts of modern architecture tastefully highlighted with local rustic wood accents. Relax on Premium Egyptian Cotton bedding and luxurious pillow top queen size mattresses, in one of the three bedrooms the other two bedrooms have Cal-kings. The master has it's own bath, while the other two rooms share Jack and Jill bathrooms. There is a fourth bathroom for guests.
Make use of the well appointed modern kitchen for entertaining lots of company, as we're equipped to sleep 8 comfortably in beds.
Enjoy the view from the extensive windows facing to the south, overlooking Duck Creek Meadow, across from the Village itself. Or walk around the 1600 ft deck that completely surrounds every floor. We regularly count upwards of 50 deer coming into the meadow at dusk, and recently have been entertained by a family of foxes that hunts and plays in the meadow. You can almost always see a few Red Tail Hawks and Falcons cruising over the meadow, swooping down occasionally to pull a fish out of the creek, or some tasty morsel from the grassy meadow. Watch for the extremely social marmots that sun themselves on the rocks below. When you decide you want to stretch your legs a bit, take a walk down into the meadow itself, and see where Duck Creek disappears into sink holes on the east edge of the to be seen again for 13 it flows into the Sevier River...Check with Mike our on site owner/operator, he will point you in the right direction. You also may be able to arrange for him to take you on a guided tour of some of the areas lesser known or winter! ATVs such as dirt bikes, quads, and side X sides or snowmobiles, he can get you there. An added Bonus is that the roads to our Lodge are maintained year round.
It's absolutely wonderful to spend any day including the holidays here at the Lodge. The community celebrates with live music, BBQ and whatever else they can come up with during the different holiday seasons.
If you have never experienced Duck Creek Days, You are missing out on an incredible time.. Its a Carnival in the Meadow with lots of different Arts, Crafts and food booths and the Famous Duck Creek Village Annual Chili Cook Off!!

Summary: This is c a great location looking over a big meadow. Using binoculars we could see countless deer and antelope. The wrap around deck was great. It was very clean and fully stocked, up to a washer and dryer with soap provided. Beds were comfortable. It does not sleep ten people however. 6 adults and a couple kids on sofa bed tops. But it fit our group well so I’m not complaining. We loved driving our ATV’s right from the property’ to many trails. We enjoyed walks to near lakes, fishing and driving to beautiful hikes. This iwas an awesome vacation!

Summary: We enjoyed our time at this property. It did state in the listing that it slept 10 comfortably and our thoughts after being there that it slept 6 comfortably with 2 on a sofa bed that was not that good (but what sofa bed is?). The unit had a super strong smell of fabulouso when we arrived which was noxious to breath. The towels were few and kind of crunchy and a few more kitchen towels would of been nice. The kitchen had great dishes to eat on and glasses were plenty. The cooking dishes were a bit scarse. Next time I would take my own cooking dishes, towels, paper towels, Kleenex and a blow up bed. Overall we had a great time and the unit was as promised.

Summary: Property was just as promised. Very clean. Nice location to visit Bryce, cedarbreaks and kanab. We had a wonderful time. Questions to property manager were answered immediately. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: The unit was clean and spacious and our stay was enjoyable. The local staff was most helpful in providing extra towels and sponges. They were also responsive in returning some items we left behind. We were most pleased with our stay and would definitely consider a return to this location

Summary: Our family of 5 stayed at the lodge at Duck Creek Village for two nights, while skiing at Brian Head. We stayed in suite 4, Bears Den. It is exactly as described online. We brought our clothes, food, and drinks , and everything else was provided. Only negative comment is that the walls are a little thin. We could hear the person in the suite above us snoring... we used a phone app as a sound machine and it wasn't a factor for us. John, the property manager, responded quickly to our questions and texts. Duck Creek village is small, but has several quaint restaurants, and one gas station / Mini Mart - which closes at 6pm. We will be staying here again, and highly recommend it.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a clean, comfortable, and well equipped suite for us. If you asked the question - what did we miss or lack? Nothing. We had everything we needed.
