Summary: The property is quaint, cosy and perfect to disconnect from the stress of life! All the amenities you need are included for a weekend away. There are multiple areas in and around the home to enjoy and watch the birds and trees. There is reception available on phone but isn’t strong, but that wasn’t a problem. The timber cottage seems historic but always felt comfortable, the township of Wollombi is so close (around 1km away, and has a tavern and multiple little cafes. We took a short 30 min drive into Lovedale and Pokolbin for some lunch, drinks and cheese, a beautiful area indeed. My partner and I loved our stay, highly recommended for a couple to get away and enjoy the serenity while staying connected to good food and plenty to occupy yourselves.

Summary: The house looked better than the photos on the listing. The composting toilet is a bit annoying and definitely smells. The decor was very cute and lovely grounds. We really enjoyed our stay. No shops nearby so bring any food/snacks you want!
