Summary: It's a lovely property and the manager was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was clean if you didn't look closely under the bed on the windowsill around the window frames and everywhere or the human eye typically doesn't go, there was thick dust. Also on the bathroom window screens, cobwebs on the radiators and the windows. The tub the sink everything else was clean. We still enjoyed our stay - But so much dust and cobwebs really stood out to me that the cleaners were not doing a great job.

Summary: We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. And to top it all off, pets are welcome, a small dog park is nearby. Our dog gets pretty excited when she sees we are going to the Latch!

Summary: This hotel is charming and memorable, very pretty in historical building. The staff were very kind and it is close to all amenities. Here are the down sides. The hotel doesn’t warrant the price, at all. Almost insultingly so. I couldn’t use the bathtub. The pipes are old and so the water that comes out of them is coffee colored. I noticed an old sign afterwards that said “do not use tub because the pipes are old”. The rooms are supplied with two space heaters because the rooms are chilly. I saw that some people said they enjoyed the beds. There is no way that mattress is from this century. Lastly and above all…. YOU CANT WORK FROM HERE there internet is just that bad. Everything else was perfect. If you want charm and history - this is it.
