5 Bedroom House in Lake Nebagamon

The Landing on Lake Nebagamon is a three acre distinctive property with a private driveway a quarter-mile long to provide serenity. Guests enjoy unlimited use of a Bennington pontoon boat, fishing boat, swimming raft, canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, and much more. Guests in the winter enjoy access to a very extensive network of snowmobile trails in Douglas and Bayfield counties right out the back door!
This lake home has spectacular views and is an "open" concept. The house is 2,700 square feet with three huge bedrooms, all with king beds and all with two additional twin beds in the form of trundles. Additional den room features a pull out sofa for which we provide a supplementary thick mattress pad. The house has two full service kitchens, one on each level, perfect for multiple families! There is an additional 600 s.f. in the "barn," a fully finished separate building near the house. The barn features a 300 s.f. living space on the lower floor and a 300 s.f. sleeping space for 8 on the upper floor. The living space has a couch, reclining chair, big screen HDTV, wifi, foosball, and a wood stove. The sleeping space includes a queen bed and two bunk beds with full size on the bottom and twin on the top. A red cedar sauna for up to 8 in the boathouse completes the property.
Extremely private setting, close enough to town by vehicle or boat, but on the other side of the lake for privacy. HDTV and screaming fast WiFi included. There are NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE FEES when booking this property.
The lake is a gem. 914 acres total. Our lake frontage is 100 feet of firm sand, the water is extremely clean. Consistently, we have guests that comment that they normally don't like to walk and swim in lakes, but that this a completely different experience!
After 12 years in this business through two properties on Lake Nebagamon, here is what makes this property different from others on our lake:
1) Level lakeshore, without outdoor stairs.
2) Large sandy beach, which is rare on this lake.
3) Privacy, you will not see or hear the nearest road.
4) Multiple buildings for sleeping and enjoyment of amenities.
5) All of the included extra toys, especially in the summer.
6) High energy and effort from the owners to improve the property continuously and commitment to making your stay the best it can possibly be.

Summary: This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as our first! The house was clean and welcoming and fully equipped with everything we needed for our long weekend! We very much enjoy the sauna and the beautiful lake. We also had a couple of nice fires in the fire pit to relax around! We also appreciate the ample kitchen space as we like to prepare all of our meals while traveling. The large dining table is wonderful as well so that we can all eat together and play games and do a puzzle after dinner. We also explored the local area a bit more this time and found some really wonderful state parks and forests to explore! Erik, the host, was incredibly kind and responsive when I had a couple of questions. We will absolutely be staying again!

Summary: The Landing is a beautiful property and as is Lake Nabagamon! Our family of 15 had a fantastic time and we all hated to leave :( We had great family time with lots of fun with the pontoon, fishing, paddle boarding and swimming. Lake Nebagamon is a beautiful peaceful lake. The property owner, Eric, is a wonderful guy to communicate with. He is responsive to your questions and is very kind. We are hoping to return to The Landing for another family adventure.

Summary: We had a great time staying at The Landing for a long snowmobiling weekend . Everything was just as described in the listing. Summary: We stayed at the landing for our daughter's wedding in nearby Poplar. The lake house was perfect for our group with multiple families. The two kitchens and refrigerators made it easy to prepare food for our group and the wedding party. We enjoyed a dip in the chilly October lake and then warming in the sauna. Summary: We enjoyed our short family vacation here so much! The house was plenty large for the eleven of us. The season was too cold for lake activities and too early for snow activities but we knew that would be true and planned to spend our time just hanging out together. The sauna and polar plunges were great hits!! Our host kept in touch with us to be sure everything went well. There are lake toys for summer stays so we will try to go back there sometime soon. Great place! Highly recommend!!
