Positive: It was a beautiful house, great shower pressure, good comfortable beds with hypoallergenic pillows offered. The house was less than a 10 minute walk to both the station and the beachfront - and the advantage of staying slightly away from the beachfront is the absence of seagull caws that wake you up prematurely in the mornings- you’d want to spend more time lying in their plush beds, after all. The best part of it was Derval’s incredible hospitality. She was so kindly and meticulous. Her breakfast was 10/10 - made with freshly sourced local ingredients. She has mastered the underrated skill of cooking fresh tomatoes and mushrooms perfectly. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll get to taste her scones, which are light, crispy and buttery. Sometimes she’ll leave freshly baked cake with strawberries and freshly whipped cream in the living room for guests, which was such a treat. St Leonard’s itself is a beautiful town with a trove of vintage shops, unexpectedly good food and great views. We sat by the pier on a sunny afternoon watching the waves and having a beer - which felt like a quintessential summer holiday. Highly recommend that you spend 3 or more days here to enjoy the area and the beautiful b&b.

Positive: The breakfast was amazing, Derval looked after us so well and we had some great breakfast choices, I would not change a thing, apart from I should have ordered a mimosa! The bedroom was devine, the bed so comfortable, the room so relaxing and inviting. The bathroom was just lushious, and I had a bath, it was wow! We are coming back to St Leonards and I know exactly where I am staying! Thank you so much Derval!

Positive: What a gem this place is. The house is beautiful presented and very well kept and the breakfast was to die for. More than enough to keep hunger away for most of the day, and all beautifully prepared by Derval. Our room was lovely and very tastefully decorated (like the whole house), the bed was huge and comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. Parking was not a problem as there were many on-street places next to and nearby.

Negative: Personally, I couldn't fault a thing.

Summary: A real find that we shall return to and recommend to our family and friends

Positive: Great location. Plenty of free street parking. Excellent wifi. Beautifully decorated room. Huge bed that was super comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. Derval makes sure you dont go hungry. There's always a surprise treat. Each day there are homemade cookies in a jar in the room. Homemade scones, jams and marmalade. Freshly squeezed juices. Dave and Derval are excellent hosts. They have lots of ideas of places to see and restaurants to visit. there is a huge amount of information on their website as well. This was our second visit and we will definately be back again.

Negative: There is absolutely nothing to change.

Summary: Beautiful B&B. Close to the beach and town. Excellent wifi. Ample free street parking
