Negative: The food I had the fish and chips the batter was way to thick but the chips was lovely. For breakfast we had the eggs royal too much hollandaise sauce.

Positive: We chose the Inn for its location and it didn't disappoint, although parking is a little tight. Good choices on the dinner menu and nicely cooked food. The full-English breakfast was also very good.

Negative: The room itself was a little basic in furnishings/fittings. Our room certainly needed a stud wall and six inches of sound insulation to keep out the next door shower and extractor noises....

Positive: At a sad time it was just right to wrap us in comfort. It is a lovely venue with really friendly staff. The inn had a real feeling of history and we would certainly book there again if we were in the vicinity.

Negative: Nothing could have done to make it better except perhaps the weather. Thank you.
