Positive: The Jenny Lind is a traditional pub in the Old Town that also offers accommodation. As a base for exploring Hastings and the wider area, the Jenny Lind could not be bettered. There is something innately warm and welcoming about the atmosphere of the building, and the staff are friendly, helpful and have all the local knowledge you could require. As someone who does not always sleep well in hotels, I found the Jenny Lind a restful, peaceful place to be - a true home away from home. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!

Negative: Just be aware that the Jenny Lind does not serve breakfast - but this is not a problem as even in Jaunary I found excellent breakfast options within easy walking distance.

Positive: Brilliant location, friendly staff and loved that it had a bath

Negative: The decor on the stairs and in the bathroom was a bit tired, the mattresses were softer than I'd like, and the cost was quite high

Summary: Great lively pub, friendly staff and tea/coffee/biscuits a nice touch. Quite pricey but top location
