Positive: The house was wonderful. Really spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and all the facilities you could need. The location was perfect, overlooking the old town High Street, yet surprisingly quiet inside the property. No dedicated parking (same as much of the old town) but easy to stop and unload. Jane and Lisa were friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to any messages. We loved it so much we’ve already booked to stay again. Thank you!!

Positive: Perfect location, very quirky house with everything you need. It’s hard to find a house with 5 double rooms but this house is so spacious and comfortable and a brilliant place for a girls weekend. Hosts very helpful and responsive.

Negative: Everything was great! Only issue is parking but for the location you wouldn’t expect to be able to park!

Positive: Very comfortable, tastefully decorated, very homely, very well equipped. Great position in the centre of the old town, a couple of hundred yards from the seafront. Don’t be fooled by the modest looking entrance down the back alley - a short climb up a few steps leads to a Tardis-like collection of beautifully decorated “period” rooms. Bakery and other interesting shops only a few yards away, not to mention a wonderful variety of traditional pubs within a few yards.

Negative: Unloading access a little tricky - unloading bay at front usually occupied, best to drive up “ Winding Street” which leads to the alleyway. On street parking possible but very difficult, other car parks available within 10 mins walk though expensive as a long term proposition.

Summary: Tardis-like beautiful house right in the centre of the old town, plenty of room for our group party of 8 adults.

Positive: We had 6 of us stay in the property. Honestly this house is amazing. Perfect location right in the old town surrounded by little bars, restaurants and shops. 1 minute from the beach which was perfect for morning strolls.

Negative: There wasn't anything that we didn't like!

Positive: A lovely unique house which we enjoyed staying in for our family get-together. The house was spacious, clean and well-equipped with everything we needed including some toys for the kids to play with. It was also a lovely surprise to find the hosts had left milk, bread, wine, and tea/coffee for us. The location was great, right in the centre of the Old Town and close to lots of shops and places to eat and drink. It was also a short walking distance to the seafront and other tourist attractions like the West Hill and East Hill funicular railways, Smugglers Cave, amusement parks and the fishing quarter for the museums. We were lucky to be visiting during the carnival week so there was a wonderful atmosphere in the Old Town and lots to see and do, one of the children even got involved in the “Old Town Crier” contest as it was running just opposite the house on the steps of St Clements church. Hosts Lisa and Jane are lovely and very helpful. The communication throughout was great and they kindly let us leave our suitcase and bags in the house after checkout so we could continue exploring Hastings before getting our train back to London. Thank you so much, we had a lovely time and hope to visit again!

Positive: The accommodation was in a good location with a lovely atmosphere 😀 We had welcome gifts including bread and milk and this was a lovely surprise. The accommodation was spacious and we had such lovely time that one of my grandsons did not want to leave! Jane and Lisa were so lovely so much so that they posted to us at no costs to ourselves the items that we forgot. We hope to visit Stunning 18th Century 5 Bed House Old-Town Hastings again soon. Thank you so much for a great holiday!

Negative: I had difficulties with the stairs because of my disabilities. We also had difficulty with the showers, that is managing to get a balance with the hot and cold water mix.
