Positive: Excellent location, great view, comfortable bed lovely bathroom and nice size balcony

Negative: Had problem with WiFi which was quickly solved. All properties where I have stayed in Greece have the bins emptied daily. We had to ask for this to be done initially but then someone collected the rubbish each day.

Summary: Comfortable in an ideal location. Great for a short stay.

Positive: The island view, it is exactly what you can expect from the old historical stone house. You can feel the soul of the beautiful Plaka. If you’ve read the book or watched the movie The Island by Victoria Hislop, this is the very house from the story. Staying here feels like stepping into history. Doxa, the host, is always just a message away—whenever we needed anything, she responded instantly. Although it’s an old stone house, it is beautifully equipped and thoughtfully organized, blending authentic charm with modern comfort. From the terrace, the view of Spinalonga island is simply breathtaking, and knowing its story makes the experience even more magical. Excellent restaurants are just a minute’s walk away—be sure to book in advance as they’re popular. I highly recommend Giovanni’s, which is practically next door (only 5 meters away)

Negative: One small note: the stairs inside are quite narrow. It wasn’t a problem for us, but if you’re carrying very large luggage, it’s good to be aware.

Positive: Fantastic location and balcony (too hot to use in the morning!). Prompt response when we had no cutlery.

Negative: WiFi wasn’t great. Poor water pressure in sink in bathroom. Shower was great!?

Summary: Lovely experience. Apartment is a bit compact but well designed and great fridge which isimportant in the hot weather.

Positive: The location was excellent we had seen the property for several years and found it on booking.com not too busy for this time of year Lots of activity on the water with many boats going to spinalonga.great balcony to sit and watch with a beer or glass of wine.

Positive: The view was stunning. Exactly as the photographs show. Beautifully decorated. Small but had everything and more that you needed. Lovely restaurants just outside. Owner extremely helpful.
