Positive: Pool, food options, fitness center + sauna, and the beach club were amazing. Staff was also lovely, everyone was kind and accommodating. Did not feel touristy at all which we appreciated.

Negative: Really wish it was on the beach BUT access to Old Fort Bay Club more than makes up for it.

Positive: The property was beautiful. The grounds are well maintained. Our room was perfect and the decor and design of the whole property was gorgeous. The fitness classes were all really good! The squash courts were being renovated but once that is done that will be great. The food on site is delicious.

Negative: The location is difficult if you aren’t renting a car. Taxis are very expensive so it will cost $60 to 80$ US both ways if you want to go into town for dinner or if you want to explore a different area. You also can’t walk anywhere from the property. That being said if you are looking to relax and not do a lot of site seeing The Island House is perfect for that. The shuttle service to and from the beach works really well and Old Fort Bay beach is exquisitely beautiful. I wish that there were fridges in the room so that one could purchase their own snacks.
