Summary: Beautiful grounds and lovely room. Nice employees. Had bad service at breakfast and mediocre service for casual dinner. We didn’t like the constant “yaht rock” music played loudly from speakers everywhere we went. Quite loud and obnoxious after hours and hours of it. Pool area was difficult to relax and read with music blaring and no way to regulate what played or volume. Room was noisy for a long time at night from loud water pump - maybe adjoining room’s jet tub running ? Cleaning staff noisy early in morning in hallways. Staff didn’t seem concerned. We mentioned that we didn’t find our stay as restful as we hoped, when we checked out and staff barely reacted and said that she hoped we’d be back. It surprised us for a very expensive resort. Our first time staying here, and probably our last. But such a lovely place, it makes us sad.

Summary: Beautiful hotel. Poor soundproofing - woken up several times by guest walking around or dropping items on the floor above. The Straits restaurant was mediocre and overpriced - definitely recommend the Pizza at the other restaurant. Gym was amazing. Kids’ pool was cold. Far from town - carriage rides were expensive, so not the best hotel if you aren’t into walking. Super fun lawn games and fire pits with free s’mores kits.

Summary: Property was secluded and gorgeous. Lots to do on property. We tried out the dining room, the bar, and the back patio. We also rented bikes. Loved laying in the hammock on the beautiful green lawn. Also took advantage of the sauna and exercise room. All were impeccable.

Summary: The Stonecliff Inn was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen or had the privilege to enjoy! The staff was wonderful, warm and efficient. They made sure everything was beautiful for our stay. The food on site at the Straits WAS SUPERB, plentiful , and lovely. The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful in our selections. The Luncheon Pizza oven staff was also warm and friendly and the food was delicious! The grounds, bikes, and wellness center were impeccable! I look so forward to returning again and again!
