Summary: We had several couples get together for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The house and surrounding area is beautiful and well kept and the wine is great!

Summary: The bones of the house are good however we had some issues with cleanliness. The property manager was responsive to the backed up tub but the shower liner had mold on it, the cook ware was greasy and had to be washed before we used it. The refrigerator had spilled food and other goopy foods which had to be wiped clean before we could put anything in it. The front porch was missing a fan, the towels were old and thread bare. A lot of little things. I was disappointed that a property of a premier host was in need of so many maintenance items. Our stay was nice enough but needs some TLC.

Summary: We had a nice stay at Glen Castle. The winery right across the yard was a fun perk and the adults could hang at the tasting room while the kids played in the field. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The pool was nice and clean but the outdoor furniture needs upgrades and the pool bar/TV area was dirty. The outdoor TV did not work for cable or apps - we had to connect our own Roku. Same for living room TV inside house - the connection is bad and getting the smart TV to work was problematic. There is only a loveseat and couch in the living room so not enough seating for a group of 12. The landscaping in front needed some attention - but this did not affect our stay. There is a pellet grill that was functioning but needed a good cleaning. The pictures in this listing are accurate aside from the office connected to a bathroom - this room has 2 twin beds and was perfect for a kids room. The owner is extremely responsive and handled all requests and questions.

Summary: Property was pretty much as advertised, but was not as clean as expected; dirty pans in oven,mold in the showers, freezer and pool fridge were dirty ( had to clean these before we could use them). Upkeep of exterior was less than ideal ( lots of weeds in the yard, wasp nest in pool cabana.Some TV components in master bedroom were nonfunctional. Host did what could be done while we were there, but expected that things would be top notch upon arrival.

Summary: House was amazing. We have a family of 8. 6 kids 14,13,12,11,11 and 5. Everyone had plenty of space. Pool was nice. Grill was convenient to cook on. Especially since we were there for the 4th of July. Beautiful winery right on property. Very quiet and off the beating path of Doswell. We went to Kings Dominion 5 times this week. Only a 10 minute drive. Wasn’t good internet service so the kids had to adjust but they just bonded and found activities to do besides being glued to the cell phones. Beautiful, clean house.

Summary: Stayed at the property with 3 families, including 6 adults and 3 kids. It was perfect. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Kitchen was very well stocked with supplies plus an outdoor. grill. The property is clean and well maintained (and stocked with some toiletries as well). We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
