Positive: From prior to check-in to check-out everything was excellent. Staff were awesome. Food was great. We really enjoyed our short stay. The rooms have been refurbished to a great standard and if we down that way again, we will definately stay again.

Negative: There is nothing negative to say about our stay.

Positive: Clean renovated rooms, kitchenette, central location

Negative: Room #22 is right next to external entry stairwell, the door bangs loudly as soon as guests enter & exit, there's also a refrigerant or aircon unit outside the room which buzzes loudly. Noise from the actual pub downstairs was minimal. Earplugs provided but not ideal. Central heating didn't seem to be adequate, very cold in the room & no ability to self adjust. The layout of the bathroom is likely due to having to stick to existing footprints in an old building but the floor around the toilet gets drenched after showering. The more internally based rooms may not have these issues & it otherwise could have been a nice stay with clean renovated rooms, easy access to pub meals & walking distance to local amenities.
