Travel Purpose: business

Positive: If you’re looking for an ‘off the beaten track’ truly authentic Fijian experience, then this is it! The people in the village were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. I had a chance to try some delicious local food, prepared fresh every day. My room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated! The trek up to the big waterfall was a real adventure! (Not for the faint hearted, but if you’re physically fit and enjoy an adventure then it’s well worth it). I believe there are shorter treks to other waterfalls too! The bush Tucker was really fun! So so cool to see and taste food that has been cooked in bamboo over a fire. A real wild experience! I still can’t get over how beautiful Drawa is, especially the people. I hope to return in 5 years to harvest the kava that I planted. Really an amazing experience! Off-grid, back to simplicity and nature!

Negative: No fans, but I think they are working on getting a solar system set up for this! And there are plenty of places to cool off!

Summary: Truly amazing, authentic Fijian village experience!!
