Summary: Happy with our one night stay very sad that this lovely hotel is on its way out, loved it, but sadly no food available so we had to eat out elsewhere. It seems sad that we cannot spend our money there , which may help to keep it going !

Summary: Overall good stay at the Horseshoe Inn. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good and of a reasonable price. Building on the outside looks great but is dated and in need of an upgrade inside.

Summary: There's a lot to like about this hotel: the staff are helpful, I had no complaints about the food, the building itself is interesting and my room was clean and quiet. That said, it is let down by a lack of maintenance. Most of the surfaces in my room were worn, the bathroom felt tired and the carpet was literally threadbare. I understand from the manager that they are now tackling the backlog of jobs that need doing and, when done, this really will be somewhere special to stay.
