Positive: A lovely renovation with lovely decor. Very comfortable and cosy. Great outlook and a lovely place to walk. Also quiet with a nice patio to sit and enjoy the sun. Loved the cactus lamp and the crockery was just my style. Everything was comfy except....

Negative: ....the chairs at the breakfast bar were too high and we couldn't get our legs under. The piping and electrics for the underfloor heating could have been enclosed or a curtain put up over the door.

Positive: The Hayloft was lovely. Beautifully decorated. Great location as close to Manchester, Chester and other areas for days out. Stunning views as on a farm. Underfloor heating was a bonus too as we were there during Storm Bert.

Negative: The layout of the bathroom was tricky. You have walk through the wet room to get to the bedroom, so if someone has just had a shower, you get wet feet as the shower sprays onto the walkway. There's also no vanity area in the bedroom or a mirror close enough to a socket which made getting ready difficult.

Summary: Cosy, relaxing break.

Positive: Well furnished and very clean. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was great as only a short drive to Knutsford. Julie was also very responsive if we had any issues.

Negative: Didn’t realise there wasn’t a washing machine which was a bit annoying as we couldn’t wash our clothes but it wasn’t a massive issue. Could also do with a small set of drawers in the wardrobe space as we couldn’t unpack all our things like underwear etc as there was nowhere to put them.

Positive: We loved every aspect of our stay but something that stood out for us was how comfortable the bed was. We slept for 9 hours straight the first night which is a blessing when you have a 10 month old back home. Julie our host was lovely. She was always on hand if we needed her for anything. She even drove us to the wedding venue we attended and offered to pick us up.

Negative: I don’t feel the property needs any negative feedback at all, however, if I had to make a suggestion it would be to put a larger full length mirror somewhere for when you’re getting ready.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful property next to the owners stunning house and grounds. The converted barn looked out onto a large paddock/field with a horse. The property was very clean with good kitchen facilities and a very nice en-suite wet room. It benefitted from underfloor heating which maintained a cosy temperature. Parking was very secure, accessed through a main gate. The location was perfect for dog walks with lots of local trails nearby. I was able to plot a lovely running route along bridleways, footpaths and country lanes. I would highly recommend this property.

Negative: My only comment would be the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the pillow was more like a cushion. But in future I’d have no problem bringing my own pillow. It wouldn’t stop me staying here again or recommending it highly.

Positive: We had a very peaceful stay in the Hayloft Well equipped ,very clean and unique property set in beautiful countryside within easy reach of Manchester . Comfy bed,great shower and dog friendly (even though our dog is very young and excitable) The host ,Julie,was on hand and extremely helpful and considerate. Would certainly stay again ,hopefully when it isnt raining 24/7 :'(
