Positive: Lovely peaceful location, ideal for visiting family and friends on the Wirral. Loved watching the owl cam, and thank you for the lovely apples in the orchard. One of the nicest cottages I've stayed in, and very practical if you have mobility issues. Had good Chinese meal delivered from Dunham Arms

Positive: The Hay Barn had everything you could want and them some. The attention to detail was Impressive both inside the property and in the grounds, the thoughtful items in the fridge etc were a welcome bonus too. I wanted to write "Don't stay here" so it was always available for us to book it's that good!

Negative: If I had to write something I'd say instructions on how to switch the heated towel rail on would have been handy.

Positive: The cottage was clean, warm and welcoming, with everything in the kitchen I needed during my stay and a deliciously comfortable bedroom. I absolutely loved the channel set up with cameras of the wildlife nearby and seeing the barn owls rest from hunting.

Positive: Location was really close to Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo and Planet Aquarium. Several local pubs and dining places around. All facilities as advertised on website. Even extras (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc,)in the cottage on arrival, very nice. Very quiet area on country lane. Locals all pleasant and welcoming. Hot tub fantastic & ready upon arrival. Brilliant for a quiet relaxing getaway. Will definitely be going back. *****

Negative: Couldn’t quite get the shower to cool down enough. Were there in a mini heatwave and a cool shower would have been nice.

Summary: 5 stars, brilliant place to stay.

Positive: Perfect location for sightseeing, amenities nearby. Were lucky to be only us and another couple staying so very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely owl cam to watch the birds , alpaca and goat in the farm . These little cottages are renovated to a high standard and have everything you need , they’ve thought of everything. Hot tub is a nice addition after a busy day.

Negative: Would have been nice to have fresh towels after a few days as we stayed a week .

In a lovely quiet area and we've loved watching the barn owl chick's on the camera. We'll definitely be visiting again. Than you for a lovely week x

Positive: Everything. The facilities were outstanding. Hot tub was beautiful. There was a lovely bottle of prosecco in the fridge as well as a lovely welcome basket of coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits. The bed was ridiculously comfy, the shower was lovely and warm with a rainfall shower head. Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. There was a camera set up on a barn owl box where you could watch the owls with their chicks. There was another camera set up on some bird feeders, and on some alpacas. We would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back again.
