Summary: Graeme was extremely helpful and made great suggestions for travel to the Orkney Islands. Hawthorns is a great option for “The North.” The land is a bit remote - yet Graeme and Eilean create a home away from home.

Summary: The two owner were so nice, the room was perfect as was the bathroom. The breakfast was the best Scottish breakfast we had during our trip. Best B&B, would recommend it to anyone going north of Scotland

Summary: We felt very much at home straightaway from the hosts’ effusive welcome. The room was well appointed and comfortable with everything required. The shower was great and breakfast very good. Great to have ample, on site parking. All in all a really good overnight stay, highly recommended.

Summary: Breakfast was very good. The hosts were very personable and made every effort to meet our needs where possible. There was a very small fridge in the room. There was also a communal lounge . The bathroom was very small with very little space to store toiletries etc. The internet connection was slow and access appeared to be limited at times.
