Positive: When we got to our room we saw we’d been upgraded due to celebrating a birthday. Having a bath in the bedroom was very luxurious

Positive: The beds & pillows were very comfortable. Nice decor throughout & decorated lovely for Xmas. Clean rooms. Pleasant staff.

Negative: Better lighting in the bathroom. Shower pressure was low. The light in the corridor shone through the door frame & under the door, making the room bright when trying to sleep. The remote controls in both rooms weren’t working properly. No hash browns with our English cooked breakfast.

Negative: The room was a bit too small for two guests but for a single night this was not a problem.

Positive: We have just spent a weekend at The Green House to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. There was a lovely surprise in our room. The room was a good size with a comfy bed. Soft towels and toiletries are provided in the bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar on Friday, which we enjoyed, and breakfast was great on both mornings. Self-service cereals, yoghurt and pastries and a cooked breakfast to order. Fresh milk was available from Reception for tea and coffee in the room. Bottles of still and sparkling water were replaced in our room too.

Negative: The TV is rather small, as mentioned in other reviews. However, we didn't go to Bournemouth to watch TV. We could hear the guests above us at 3 a.m. That was not the fault of the hotel though, just noisy guests.

Summary: A fabulous hotel for a celebratory weekend.
