Summary: Great sea view from our room. Enjoyed a great massage at the spa. Enjoyed using the pools. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant.

Summary: This was our second visit to the Grand Hotel in Torquay. We definitely enjoyed this stay, loved the bed, spacious room, sea view and lovely balcony. The room was warm, so we left the balcony door open and it was more comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, which was okay, though a bit disappointing for the price. The table hadn't been cleaned, and cutlery was missing. Food was okay. Checking in and out was easy enough. Lovely building, sea view excellent. Managed to get free parking across the road so that was a bonus.

Summary: The Grand supported our needs and promptly handled any miscommunication that came up. The spa is worth your time and the staff were courteous & friendly. Events did mean we couldn't enjoy all the facilities but alternate activities were found and enjoyed.

Summary: Hotel itself was nice but bath or shower didn’t work they fixed bath next day and then toilet seat broke. Had a nice scone and tea and ploughman’s lunch however chef must of gone on holiday as fish and chips was dreadful

Summary: Glamorous hotel, faded in places and could do with a little refurb in the bedroom corridors and around the pool, but we had a lovely stay, the facilities are great and our room was well-appointed. Great location, right next to the station and lovely view of Torquay. We will definitely return.

Summary: Generally our stay was ok. The entrance to the hotel is fabulous and well maintained and the staff are friendly. The indoor pool and changing rooms need a bit of an upgrade. There was a musty smell in our room and the corridor outside. Also not enough hooks to hang towels.

Summary: Really nice hotel, showing its age a little bit and could do with a bit of TLC in some of the common areas. Great stuff, with great service at the check-in, concierge and bar. Breakfast was good although the staff seamed quite overworked. Nice pool area outdoor. Outdoor pools were good. Gym could do with a little bit of a refit - feeling kind of old and it would be nice to have a sauna /steamroom in the spa area.
