Positive: The views ,the quietness of the surroundings The Castle breakfast on a Friday, well stocked kitchen equipment bathrooms on each level and the beds so comfy being there on one of the hottest days of the year plenty of fans congratulations to the host on a beautiful property and extremely well looked after

Positive: Just amazing! Couldn’t fault the house in anyway, it was spotless and had everything you need and more, the beds so comfortable, and lovely to get up to a view with horses out the back. Would love to visit again , we didn’t get to see to much of the area because we were there for a family wedding but did get to go into the town and didn’t take long to get there .

Positive: high quality conversion to 3 bed, 2 bathroom holiday accommodation. Spacious hallway leads to huge & high open living area with open wooden rafters and great lighting. The wood burner was lovely after a day out walking in the cold. The kitchen/dining was also huge with everything you could need. Everywhere were touches of quality for example the doors, architraving and skirting were solid oak and beautifully finished. The bathroom were really clean and without any sign of mould which is often the case in even good holiday lets. The bath towels were great - thick & soft. The location suited us, being close to the town of Barnstable and really close to all the Tarka Trail walks - you can walk out the door and be on the trail in 2 mins. The hosts were on hand if you needed them. The welcome info was really great and the house manual was also very good
Negative: The bedlinen was quite adequate but I would have preferred better quality duvets and covers. And a wardrobe in the second bedroom is needed.

Positive: A very spacious and clean house. Well equipped kitchen including washing machine and tumble dryer in utility room. All the equipment we required for a young child e.g. travel cot, stair gates, booster seat, and children's plates/cups. Great broadband too. The house is set in a nice quiet location, overlooking fields. Kate/Jim were very responsive when contacted but otherwise left us to enjoy our stay.
Negative: Although it's not located close to the beaches, they are only a short drive away.
Summary: Great family friendly stay with lots of space to enjoy.

Positive: Amazing place to stay - the converted barn was perfect for us (family of six), felt at home very quickly. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.
Negative: Only thing - we only stayed 3 days, wanted more time here!!

Positive: The only reason not give the Granary a 10 is that I’d rather nobody finds out how good it is so I can keep it free for me! I wouldn’t even hesitate, book it, you will be pleased!
