Summary: Staff very friendly and helpful. Good sized clean room for a standard room. Food both evening and breakfast was excellent. Generous portions. Wonderful location in a very picturesque village.Highly recommended.

Summary: It was generally good, thank you!! However, Saturday night was spoiled by guests in the room above my room 8. There is very little sound-proofing and every noise from the room above was heard. Quite loudly at times!!

Summary: We had a lovely stay the room vas clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful and food was good. The old pub and village was lovely and a view of the castle from our room was a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The room (castle) was great, the hotel had tons of character , food amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. We were originally going to stay in Frome then seen this hotel - we would without hesitation recommend. A fantastic find.

Summary: Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, which was at the top.
