Positive: Booked this hotel as we were attending an event in harrogate , the hotel was an absolutely gorgeous hotel not to far away from the event for us travelling back to on the Sunday. The rooms were excellent clean ,tidy , comfortable and decor of the highest standard all we could of wished for aswell as staff being polite and friendly would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again without a doubt .⭐️🏅

Positive: The whole experience from check-in to check out was overall 5☆ experience. The breakfast menu was not completely "traditional," but that's one big reason you would choose to stay here. Freshly cooked choices and fabulous. Don't come here for cornflakes and "eat as much as you can" buffet. The evening restaurant was a foodies experience, small choice on the menu, but what was there was special, superbly cooked and served. The room, though a little small, had everything expected of a 5☆ The bathroom and massive double bed were wonderful. It is obvious they use local producers and suppliers wherever possible for all food & drink.
Negative: Bejng picky:- the room was a little small for a couple. There is only 1 chair to relax in or work from. The free WiFi in the rooms didn't extend to the bar. Though I was allowed on to another network by the wonderful staff. We unexpectedly received a discretionary service charge for the accommodation side at check out, though it was well worth it, so I willingly paid. If only all hospitality staff were like those here!

Negative: Not a pretty view from the room. We were charged an ‘optional’ 15% service charge but our room hadn’t been serviced (we only stayed 2 nights so didn’t really need that)and our coffee machine didn’t work. The person at the desk said the charge was optional but the invoice had already been printed out (so I paid…). It was quite expensive any way so I don’t think it was good value.

Positive: Everything about the accommodation was great, especially the comfy room and lovely staff.
Negative: I was expecting the typical buffet for Continental breakfast. This is not the accommodation’s fault at all, but as we were travelling on and keen to get going, I found sitting and waiting to be served a bit frustrating - but it would have been fine if our circumstances had been different and we were relaxed!
Summary: A lovely place to break your journey. Excellent dinner - worth booking a table!
