Summary: The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night. Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady. We enjoyed our brief stay very much and would recommend it to others.

Summary: Clean comfy and decent sized rooms, breakfast was good, the area is quiet. Nice views from the main rooms but a view of the kitchens and bins at the back for us, hence the dropped star, and that stopped it being value for money for us.

Summary: Easy access from A1(M) and convenient for Harrogate and York. Our one night visit introduced us to a historic home, beautifully restored by the current owners. All the staff were exceptional; the house has interesting rooms, clean and beautifully decorated. Already looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!
