Surrounded by forest, private gardens and wild flower Prairie on the edge of Blue River Valley. Explore 10 acres of gardens, forest trails, small lake with stone bridge, dock and private fishing. Perfect for one to reflect, a couple's romantic getaway, or family vacation. 5 minutes to grocery store, great restaurants and 20-30 minutes to down town Kansas City attractions!

Summary: My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Garden Cottage! We were there for 3 days while in Kansas City for business and it was the perfect place to unwind after many business meetings. The surrounding countryside is really peaceful and the gardens area is pretty. The pond is a nice place to sit too. All the appliances worked well, it was clean, and the owner was great at getting back to you quickly if you had a question. We had the farm fresh eggs and they were fantastic. If we come back to this area, we will 100% stay here again!

Summary: The Garden Cottage is an enchanting escape from the city. It feels like being in the country within the city, so that you can have the best if both worlds. We loved walking on the grounds, seeing the sweet chickens and horses and ducks by the pond, and enjoyed the beauty of the cottage. Perfect place to stay when in Kansas City, MO!
