Summary: The Gables is everyone's home away from home! It's the most beautifully appointed home, the very epitome of genteel luxury and Angus and Claire couldn't be better, warmer and fantastic hosts. Their hospitality, care and warmth were wonderful and their attention to detail legendary! We are already planning when we can go back!

Summary: Fantastic Georgian country house, most comfortable bed I’ve slept in when away from home. Host is knowledgeable about surrounding area and is very attentive.

Summary: We spent a lovely day here and Angus is a fantastic host - very knowledgable and helpful. The room was beautiful and we had a great breakfast the next day. Can highly recommend. Set in fantastic countryside about 10 mins drive from Berwick-Upon-Tweed town.

Summary: The owners were excellent hosts very friendly and accommodating. The property is situated in an ideal location to visit the local attractions. The room was very spacious as is the en-suite bathroom. It is furnished with antiques in keeping with the period the house was built

Summary: This is a lovely home and the owners do a great job at creating warmth and comfort for their guests. We had such scrumptious breakfasts, with meat from local producers and eggs cooked to perfection. Our bed was comfy and all was quiet and peaceful.
