Summary: Nice Georgian building with good parking. Kept waiting at reception to check in while a large family were allocated rooms. Nice bedroom and shower room but approach to it was along a narrow corridor and up narrow back stairs. Good food at dinner but served by inexperienced staff. Nice breakfast was served in the bar as the dining room was full. Overall a very good experience but just cannot claim to be excellent.

Summary: We were given a pod to stay in, which was very will fitted out but far too small for more than one night. All staff and service were excellent. Not much choice in Gluten Free food but chef was willing. Toilets in hotel building need upgrading.

Summary: Large room overlooking the beautiful gardens. Nicely decorated with high quality linen and towels. Breakfast was amazing, great selection of continental and the cooked breakfast was superb. Easy accessible from the A1, Berwick just a few minutes away.

Summary: Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. Staff were fantastic, so helpful. We had been booked into a pod which was not suitable for a wheelchair user. Moved into one of the stable cottages which was amazing lots of room. The hot tub was not filled but staff allowed me to use the pods hot tub. The food was amazing and especially the breakfast. Have to join the A1 to get to the hotel only for a very short distance. Really want to return to this lovely hotel. Will go back and stay a few more nights.
