Positive: Great to have such a large store on site. Good location. Good open spaces. Great shower. Everything you need and value for money

Positive: The unit was clean and tidy, looked like it had a recent refurbishment. Parking to our unit was right at the back door, as promised when we booked. The front of the unit opens onto a lawn, looking into the units on the other side though still felt private. When we returned around 8pm, it appears that they cater for truck drivers overnighting in Hawera, though we had a good nites sleep and were not disturbed when they left presumably early the next morning. The Check in was friendly and we left the key in the unit the next morning when we left.

Negative: Only complaint here was the bed, which was a little to soft. Could also have used a bedside cabinet to perhaps.

Positive: Good location. I liked that it was part of a bigger facility and office staff also ran the servo/convenience store—good variety of products.

Negative: Needed bigger rubbish bins including one in the bathroom would be nice. Had to request bin to be emptied several times as well as extra toilet paper and change of towels. When asked staff were very accomodating though and followed through as soon as they could.

Summary: Great home base, close to town had good convenience store and well priced service station.
