Positive: The included breakfast was wonderful, clearly prepared to order and plated beautifully. The rooms was nicely decorated and very comfortable. And the grounds were lovely with numerous places to sit outside and enjoy a sunset.

Positive: Our stay exceeded our expectations! Upon arrival we experienced a warm welcome and it was so nice getting to know Russ & Wendy, as they went above and beyond to accommodate us! The breakfast each morning was exceptional, especially the Eggs Benedict! Schnitzel is so adorable, and we are excited to see her again as we hope to be back in the Fall! Russ and Wendy, Thank you for everything :-)

Positive: The breakfast was very yummy. Location was perfect for our stay. Grounds and porch were very nice.

Negative: I would have liked to have been able to open the window for some fresh air in the room. I presume its an insurance thing.

Positive: We LOVED our stay at The Fox and the Grapes. It's a beautiful home on a beautiful property overlooking Seneca Lake. We thought the prices were extremely reasonable, and the location was great. An easy straight shot drive 20 minutes into Watkins Glen, with wineries all along the way. The hosts were awesome- very accommodating, fun and helpful but not intrusive. The room was comfortable and clean. The home and property were beautiful and well maintained, and the daily hot breakfasts were awesome! We especially appreciated an extra effort from the hosts - we arrived well after standard check in hours and they left a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board for us in the guest fridge to enjoy when we arrived. So thoughtful! I really can't recommend them enough. A wonderful stay, and exactly where we will be staying if we return to the Finger Lakes.

Positive: Loved our stay at the The Fox and the Grapes! The property is lovely with a beautiful deck overlooking Seneca Lake and a large yard. The B&B is walking distance to several wineries, and a super short drive to many others. It’s also only a 20-min drive to Watkins Glen, 20 min to Cayuga Lake, and 30-min to Ithaca, so there’s plenty to see and do. The hosts were also excellent and went above and beyond to make the stay extra great. I also loved the resident pets! Highly recommend.

Positive: We loved the breakfasts. I’m a vegan and enjoyed a breakfast that matched the more traditional breakfasts that the others were served. The owners went out of their way by providing vegan cookies and chocolate along with the treats for non vegans. There was a main refrigerator that we put our ice packs for our cooler in. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evenings. Our room was a little small but had everything we needed and was quiet.

Negative: The only negative thing was the steps that led up to our room. They were a little steep but other rooms had a different staircase.

Summary: We would definitely stay there again.
