Summary: Room clean, though one towel between 2 of us, and it had that horrid damp smell so didnt leace ua feeling clean. Unfortunately check in staff were confused about the booking, not in diary & had to check what was available physically. Wasn't given the room I chose, should have been panoramic with large double bed & river view. Shared bathroom meant that we could hear numerous people opening & closing the door next to us and creaking along the landing. Only 1 towel for use, no glasses in room to be able to get a drink of water, nor any bottles of water provided. Ideas definitely need updating. The bed, pillows & duvet were comfortable. In the morning we tried to get into the main area to get breakfast at 09:45 but nothing was open and no one about. We left & drove to a cafe instead. Won't be returning the this accomodation.

Summary: We had an amazing weekend at the Fish and Anchor Inn and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a relaxed and value for money getaway while visiting Stratford or the Cotswolds. As it's an inn we checked in at the bar, then accessed the room via a separate entrance at the rear of the pub. The pub does karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, and the patrons are very welcoming. Our room, no. 6, was amazingly large and inviting, and we loved the firm bed mattress. As mentioned in the hotel description the bathroom and toilet are shared, which was no issue for us. There was also a full sized kitchen with a small breakfast table for self-catering, so be sure to bring own pots, plates and cutlery to use it. The bath towels were small, so you may want to bring your own as well as a gown. Definitely highly recommended and we'll be back!

Summary: We arrived and was shown to our room which had a separate entrance at the back of the pub, we were shown around and just to note it is a shared bathroom which isn't advertised when booking. The room was clean, the blinds dont fit the windows properly and there were no curtains, due to the lighting on the building it wasn't dark in the room at all. We were staying here as we were playing in a sporting event nearby and had to be up very early on the sunday morning. They had karaoke on in the pub the Saturday evening, which was so loud it was like they were in the bedroom with you. Despite signs all around advertising quiet hours outside the building, this obviously didn't apply to the pub! The karaoke was advertised as finishing by 11pm, annoying when you want to go to bed early but we did expect some noise. The problem was that as 11pm approached and went, the music and singing actually got louder and people congregated outside the door to the accommodation making lots of noise. It got to the point where i had to go into the pub to find out when the karaoke would be ending as it was well past the advertised time and they were cranking the sound up, the gentleman i spoke to asked the guy running the karaoke when it was finishing and his reply was its on all night, im guessing he thought he was funny but at this point id had enough. I was informed that it would be finished in 10 mins, i went back up and eventually after another 20-30 mins it finally finished.

Summary: When booking a double room on hotels.com it did not make clear it was a SHARED bathroom. Had i knew i wouldn't have bothered. Only knew when bnb confirmed booking by then couldn't cancle so hoped for best! Only plus was comfortable bed. Knew on first stop to sed shared toiled that it was going to run out off roll. Checked all cupboards no spare shockingly. Even pub toilet was locked luckily always have some in van but shouldn't be necessary at a bnb! Dont advise
