Summary: We booked this hotel so that we could visit the 'Golden Rock' of Kyaitiyo. It is a 10-15 minute walk outside of town on the road that trucks take to the Rock. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful with some beautifully kept garden areas. We sat outside in the evening and the following morning after breakfast, my wife and daughter spent some time looking at all the different flowers and plants. The staff were very polite and helpful but also didn't bother us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to visit the Buddhist site of Kyaitiyo and who wanted a pleasant and peaceful environment in which to stay. My wife and daughter are Burmese and really enjoyed their stay.

Summary: No complaints with my choice. 20 mins to town and trucks to Golden Rock. Free taxi there. Wi-fi good, breakfast good, shower good. Restaurant good menu.

Summary: The hotel is slightly far away from the town centre which is great because it is extremely quiet and secluded from the other tourists/pilgrims. The owner and most of the staff are extremely helpful and can speak descent English, so they can assist you with most things including providing transportation to and from the truck station leaving to the golden rock, and booking bus tickets. The rooms are also in excellent condition, extremely clean and nice with the only drawback being that the TV channels are fairly limited.
