Negative: It was a 3/4 bed not a double as advertised. The shower had been painted black and this was flaking off so unfortunately not a great experience when using

Positive: A cosy little room around the back of the dukes pub. This was small but comfortable. The bed was lovely and comfy and the room was fresh and clean. Bathroom was small but stayed warm after use of the shower. I’d stay here again but without the disabled assistance chair in the bathroom.

Negative: The door and frame needs upgrading as we could see outside around the edge of the door. The disabled assistance chair in the shower was the Bain of my life as it took space you don’t have. This should only be provided if requested to give the space needed.

Summary: Cosy a cutesy. Definitely worth another stay!

Positive: Our room at The Dukes was spotless and modern, with fresh bed linen, fluffy towels, and a super comfortable bed. The shower was perfectly warm, and we loved the little touch of complimentary body wash. Breakfast the next morning was just what we needed after a big night of wedding celebrations. The staff were all incredibly friendly and flexible with our arrival and check-out times. We’d definitely stay again!

Positive: The staff are lovely and make you feel really welcome. Handy location and really quiet in the evenings, so easy to drift off to sleep. Very clean inside and out, with doorstep parking. What’s not to like?

Negative: I would have perhaps liked a mini fridge somewhere for milk etc. But that is just being idealistic the facilities were great.
