Positive: Fantastic spot. Wished we had been able to stay 2-3 nights instead of just 1. Really great breakfast, lovely country setting and attentive hosts. The sitting area, both indoors and outdoors, were a plus.

Negative: Bathroom mirror lights didn't work (just need to replace the fluorescent bulbs) & the bathtub enclosure door was a bit fidgety but I considered these quite minor given the quality of all the rest.

Summary: This place is a keeper. Would seek it out again if anywhere near the area in need of a B&B.

Positive: This was a terrific place to stay - I can't fault it in any respect. I was arriving late and the host took the trouble to send a video explaining how to access the property and the room which made the process completely stress free. The house is lovely and in a beautiful setting and the room was beautiful too, with everything you could possibly need. And the breakfast! I didn't need to eat anything for the rest of the day. I can't recommend The Draen highly enough; a lovely place with a charming and friendly host. Will go back as soon as I can!

Negative: The only thing I didn't like was having to leave in the morning! I can't find any faults with this place.

Positive: The Draen is a classic Welsh cottage in a very peaceful location only a few minutes by car from Bronllys and Talgarth for somewhere to eat in the evening . The room was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated and we had our own area for breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with fresh local produce and piping hot. We were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and it will be our go to place when we are in the area again

Positive: Sue was so welcoming and friendly. The location is so peaceful and the room (We had the Rose room) was beautiful. There was plenty of tea and coffee. If you wanted more, Sue was more than happy to provide it. The breakfast was insane! A full english or salmon and scrambled eggs provided by Johnny. The portions are huge so you won't go hungry!
