Our newly renovated home is located in the middle of Balclutha on a hill overlooking the Clutha river. The house was built in the 1940s and used to accomodate medical staff of the old hospital.
Balclutha is centrally located between Dunedin and Invercargill with the beautiful Catlins, Kaka Point, Nugget Point and other beaches at its doorstep. Dunedin airport is 60km away and in approx. 1 hour you are in Central Otago.
Besides you get all the services here a district town has to offer: Sport facilities, Golf Course, Supermarkets, Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, Garages and Repair shops.

Summary: A charming three bedroom house in a peaceful setting, with a rural outlook. The hosts have gone the extra mile to make this great accomodation. A large well appointed kitchen, Netflix, wifi, an efficient heatpump, comfortable lounge and it was easy to have a good nights sleep. Everything was cozy and clean, and the house has charming period features.
