Positive: We had such a wonderful stay in the shepherds huts. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and we arrived to find the huts already warmed and the hot tub ready to enjoy. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided onsite, even charming little sauna hats that made us laugh. The huts stayed beautifully warm throughout our November evening, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, giving us a truly restful night. One of our highlights was gathering around the fire pit under the stars, which made the experience feel magical. My dog was also warmly welcomed, with her own bed provided, and she clearly had just as good a time as we did. It was such a joy to find a place that cared for every detail, making the stay relaxing, cozy, and memorable for me and my best friends.

Positive: We loved the attention to detail, the shepherds hut was perfect in every way, very well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. Situated in a convenient location within walking distance to the village, there is nothing not to love. The wood fired hot tub was super relaxing after a long day exploring and was prepared for us during our stay. Allison is a lovely welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble.

Positive: In beautiful location,well looked after surroundings opposite farm with sheep and ponies,separate green spot for wildlife to come in i.e badger. Beautifullly decorated interior with small cosy details,solar lights,sustainable energy. Separate bathroom with great quality shower and toiletries. Comfortable bed and bunk bed where I squeezed in rather than my son. Doughnut beds for dogs,bowls and even poo bags for them,all well organised. Wood logs provided for hot tub and bbq fire pit. Everything thought of. Exceptional hospitality of host Allison too.

Positive: Comfortable property with literally everything you could want for a “glamping” stay. Peaceful and gorgeous setting. Sitting in the hot tub at night watching the bats hunts for insects above and just enjoying the peace and quiet.

Negative: Not so much didn’t like .. more a could make things better. 1. The welcome book looks a bit outdated, don’t think it would take that much effort to put in some menus of the 4 recommended pubs. There were breakfast suggestions but most didn’t have any location on them which made them pointless. 2. Was very surprised that in today’s world the duvet was feather. I couldn’t work out why my coughing and breathing was noticeably bad and didn’t think to check the duvet. Being severely allergic to feathers it isn’t a minor thing. I slept on the floor for the last night just to avoid it. Not ideal. Yes I know for 90% of the country that will sound picky, but I haven’t stayed anywhere in the last 4 years that hasn’t had non allergenic duvets and pillows.
