A breathtaking property recently featured on the Emmy-award winning travel show, “Staycation,” as one of the finest wine country rentals, Dalya Estate features two beautifully renovated homes: the luxurious Vineyard House and the charming Guest Cottage. This boutique vineyard estate is surrounded by glorious gardens bursting with color, fragrance and fruit year-round, and its highly regarded, organically produced Sonoma Coast Chardonnay vines flank the elegant drive down to the main grounds.
The Vineyard House at The Dalya Estate (MAIN HOUSE):
The main house is a light-filled 2,400 square foot retreat comprised of 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Floor to ceiling glass Nano doors in the main living and dining area open to an expansive backyard with stunning views over the solar heated lap pool and jacuzzi framed by neighboring Pinot vineyards. The home has a beautiful open layout, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen featuring a Viking Gas Range with 6 Burners and dual ovens, spacious butler’s pantry, Shaw’s fireclay sink, and a grand, gracious marble island for gathering, wining and dining.
Heated through hydronic radiant floor heating, and outfitted with brand new energy-efficient air conditioning during the summer, the Vineyard House is perfect in every season. Washer and Dryer are located just outside the glass doors, in a private laundry room. The adjacent Pool House charms with a vine-covered outdoor shower and is perfect for lounging or napping just steps from the majestic views and the in-ground spa.
The entire grounds are served by brand new solar power and backup generators to keep power and services in force year-round. EV charging for 2 cars in the main car park.

The Guest House at The Dalya Estate:
The guest cottage is a 1,400 square foot, romantically renovated 1920’s farmhouse with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a loft with a bonus Queen bed and Double futon.
Large, original windows afford views of the gardens on all sides and flood the home with natural light. The fully equipped kitchen features a marvelous vintage O’Keefe and Merritt range. A beautiful wrap-around covered porch overlooks the rose gardens and offers perfect indoor-outdoor flow. The home is heated through central air, and during the winter, the gas fireplace is a perfect way to warm the home and cozy up for the evening. In summer, the air conditioning keeps things comfortable. The guest cottage also has its own laundry area located just outside the kitchen nook. Adjacent the guest cottage are a stunning lawn lit up with string lights for magical al fresco dining, and a generous screened in porch, perfect for an afternoon siesta or escaping with a good read.

**NOTE: the stairs to the loft bedroom are short and very steep, not designed for toddlers or older legs.
While our property is 6+ acres and surrounded on three sides by large commercial vineyards, we do have neighbors with whom we share a mutual respect for local noise ordinances. Our goal is to provide a relaxing environment where friends and family can kick back, laugh and enjoy themselves immensely. Just a reminder, this home is located on a working vineyard, so there is work at the front of the property, where the grapes are located, as well as sulfur sprayed on a weekly basis. The vineyard is organically farmed, so all activity is free of harmful chemicals.
**Pool is heated only by request from May through the end of October. If you would like to heat the pool during the off season, please inquire about the additional fee to heat the pool. Hot tub remains hot and available for your use all year round**

Summary: The best aspect is the setting in Sonoma County wine country. They could "improve" by increasing the quality of the beds, kitchen cookware, and glassware. For example, there were no champagne flutes, even though Iron Horse is next door.

Summary: Dayla Estate is a beautiful landscaped property with amenities that fit our large group very well. The owner was available and very helpful with local suggestions for activities, wineries and restaurants. Our best vacation to date and we have been all around the world!

Summary: Situated both beautifully and conveniently, Dalya was a lovely and comfortable "home away from home" for our 3 generation family gathering. It enabled us to cook, relax, swim and spend quality time with one another while be smack dab in the middle of a variety of compelling vineyards to explore. The 2 houses and pool room accommodated our party of 10 perfectly. Great stay and the property management team was responsive and professional.

Summary: Our entire family enjoyed the property for our Thanksgiving this year. We rented both houses which gave our family plenty of room to relax. The main house has a large kitchen that was perfect for preparing and enjoying our Thanksgiving weekend together. My only suggestion would be to add patio heat and/or a fire pit to help enjoy the evenings outdoors. The outdoor spaces and gardens are beautiful and well maintained.

Summary: This property was absolutely beautiful from the grand gated entrance to the surrounding countryside. We actually rented both the main house and nearby guesthouse which is located just a short distance away. Both of these were well maintained and lovely. We had a few occasions where we needed to contact the property manager and the response couldn't have been quicker! We even got to meet Dalya herself who was gracious enough to give us a history of both the estate and the surrounding area. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return soon.

Summary: When our plans to go to Italy got derailed, we looked for a place closer to our home in the San Francisco Bay Area to vacation for the summer. This beautiful farmhouse just blew us away, from the views, to the grounds, to the pool to the house itself. Our week there really felt like we had been transported to Italy. The accommodations are wonderful, with everything you need to make staying in a breeze. Lori, who manages the property, was amazing, checking in with us before we arrived and providing everything we needed for a contactless arrival. Moreover, she was gracious enough to allow some family members who were visiting during our stay to use the pool house to help maintain our social distancing. All told, it was a truly exceptional experience with a friendly and happy to help team in what are unprecedented times. I could not recommend this property any more highly, though perhaps the words of my 7 year old daughter sum it up best. "Daddy, can we got back to the Sebastopol house again next summer?"

Summary: Loved the house. Picturesque setting with a well appointed spacious kitchen that inspired cooking. Easy access to Sebastopol, Armstrong State Park, Russian River and wineries. Short scenic hop to Healdsburg. Plenty to do in the area but the pool and scenery and make it easy to relax in place. The kids loved it. The house itself is spacious and the manager was very helpful and responsive.

Summary: It's a wonderful place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Beautiful vineyard, trees, sauna and pool. Lots of fun things to do nearby in Sonoma and Napa. A great vacation spot for couples or a family.

Summary: This is a well maintained property that will NOT disappoint. Everything is covered from a fully stocked kitchen to extra linens and towels, just in case. The pool is great for both kids to play and adults to do some laps, plus the outdoor veranda offers a stunning view and relaxing atmosphere. Neighbors are far far away so you feel like you're on the top of your own little mountain. 5 stars all around.

Summary: We were lucky enough to spend a warm fall weekend here with our adult children. We couldn't have found a more wonderful home. The home is beautifully appointed and well equipped. From the bedrooms to the kitchen, everything is top notch. Knowlton Farm is also well located for visiting Russian River Valley wineries and restaurants. Our only question was; why didn't we stay longer? Next time!!!
