Positive: It was very clean, thoughtfully furnished, very quiet, located in a lovely park setting, had a hot shower and was comfortably warm in mid winter. The continental breakfast was lovely and meant we could snuggle in a bit before we headed out for the day. I took my wife on the Q Train, which was only 5 minutes walk, making the week-end super relaxing. Thanks!

Positive: A cute little cottage with everything we needed including generous breakfast supplies. The bed was comfy and hosts were great to communicate with; they sent prompt replies to my queries. It's a great base from which to do the Q train.- you can walk to the station in about 10 minutes along the lakeside path. Drysdale village is a little further along.

Positive: Wonderful location. The access to the Qtrain as a short walk was just as expected and the walks around the lake a joy. The gardens around the cottage blessed us with an array of native birds and wildlife to watch. Everything was clean and neat and the owners had gone to extremes to ensure that the cottage afforded everything we could have wanted. Most impressed with the facilities provided even though in our short stay we did not get to use much of them

Negative: A little cold overnight because the bathroom window wouldn’t shut properly. Not easy to park after dark in the laneways and find access.

Summary: Lovely little cottage, comfortable even if a little tired. Extensive facilities thoughtfully provided.
