Positive: Check in was fine. The room was spacious enough. The hotel was also warm enough (it was relatively cold outside). The WiFI worked well.

Negative: The pillows were rock hard. The bedclothes consisted only of a large fluffy blanket, which was warm and large enough but there were no sheets or a duvet. My room was on the ground floor, at the front of the hotel and relatively noisy because of the main road outside. At 4 o'clock in the morning there was a terrible banging going on outside; eventually the banging came to my window. Then, shockingly, someone opened my window from the outside and opened the curtains! There were two people standing there about to come in to my room. I asked them what they thought they were doing and it turned out that they had asked the hotel if they could come in late, between 4-5 o'clock in the morning. The hotel said there would be someone on reception so it wouldn't be a problem. There was no one there (he was asleep in the basement)! I let them in through the front door and went back to room. Needless to say I didn't get any more sleep that night. When I left the receptionist wasn't there so I couldn't complain directly to him. I was in a hurry and had to leave - so here is my review instead.
