Positive: Comfortable, local pub with friendly staff. In a quiet village Good breakfast cooked to order There was live music on Sat evening between 8.30 and 11 pm not particularly to our taste but very popular with the locals. And it was a bank holiday Saturday!!

Positive: The location, room and breakfast were great, we had one evening meal and it was delicious. We could park our car immediately in front of The Crown Inn which was very good.

Negative: The bed was uncomfortable, the mattress too soft, the duvet and duvet cover quite hot.

Summary: It was a short stay, visiting family in the area, so we did not spend much time in the room

Positive: Good location, friendly people and good menu. It’s a place that is clearly loved by locals and keeping a village alive

Negative: Sad that they whacked on £20 for my dog to stay. It was just added to my food bill. As a single person travelling with 1 dog I have to consider the price carefully when booking. It was sad to he financially penalised especially when the pub was full of dogs.
