Summary: We were on a walking holiday, so this was a welcome stop. Although the room was small, it was well appointed, though the shower could have been cleaner. Unfortunately, a gas issue meant there was no hot dinner service. The manager did a great job of rustling up cold cuts, and we weren’t charged, which was appreciated. There was also no hot water in the morning, but the breakfast they were able to provide was still welcome.

Summary: We stayed in the family studio at The Crown Inn for a wedding at Lapstone Barn which was just 10 minutes away. The room was perfect for us, with a double and 2 single beds. The room has its own entrance away from the main building and we found it quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great and service from all members of staff friendly and welcoming.

Summary: A lovely little hotel in a charming village. We stayed in the Studio which was spacious and had a lovely view. Wouldn’t definitely stay again. Didn’t have our main meal there as the menu choices were rather limited. Breakfast was good and included in the cost of the room.
