Summary: Nice room with a couple of minor maintenance issues (cracked shower shelf and loose toilet seat. Unfortunately, stayed on the hottest day of the year so far - would have loved AC. Staff very friendly and food (Breakfast and dinner) excellent.

Summary: Venue is a beautiful country pub, excellent location for a family wedding. A real rustic feel with lots of little areas. Food in the restaurant very nice. Rooms very clean and good towels. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Only down side, rooms incredibly hot so would benefit from air con.

Summary: Lovely stay at The Crown, really friendly staff the rooms are separate from the pub so nice and quiet, really comfortable bed all the amenities were superb. We didn’t eat there in the evening as had a party to go to but 14 of us had the carvery on the Sunday and I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, just need my friend to have another party.

Summary: The pub's in a very quiet place and the bed was comfortable. The food is also good - we had dinner and breakfast. It's a charming place but there is a lack of attention to detail, eg, the hot taps in the toilets off the dining room did not work, we were not offered a separate plate or knife with our toast, the shower head badly needed descaling, the room decor and furniture appeared tired and worn in places. At this price point, we expected better. A good place to dine but not stay at the moment.
