Summary: Lovely stay at The Crown, really friendly staff the rooms are separate from the pub so nice and quiet, really comfortable bed all the amenities were superb. We didn’t eat there in the evening as had a party to go to but 14 of us had the carvery on the Sunday and I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, just need my friend to have another party.

Summary: The pub's in a very quiet place and the bed was comfortable. The food is also good - we had dinner and breakfast. It's a charming place but there is a lack of attention to detail, eg, the hot taps in the toilets off the dining room did not work, we were not offered a separate plate or knife with our toast, the shower head badly needed descaling, the room decor and furniture appeared tired and worn in places. At this price point, we expected better. A good place to dine but not stay at the moment.

Summary: 2nd time I’ve stayed here. First time for work. Second time, pleasure. Great atmosphere in the pub and restaurant. Good quality food and drinks. Excellent service. Well appointed. Love the converted stable block accommodation. Clean and well presented.
