Summary: Beautiful big room with timed fireplace! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom huge. Public spaces including the restaurant and library were beautiful. So we’re the entry space with staircase and outdoor garden. The staff were very nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast and wine and cheese for happy hour were lovely. The only thing I thought was lacking was the staff. They didn’t seem very friendly or attentive.

Summary: Love that you can play the music in each individual room and control the volume. The bathtub is so fun and the shower has a steamer function. Breakfast was decent and the fireplaces around the property are a nice touch. Wish the front desk staff had been a little more friendly however. They were nice, but cordial. They didn’t acknowledge our anniversary at any point also even though I put it on our reservation which I though was odd. Even just a nice note in the room would have been a nice touch but they didn’t do that. They also basically just handed me a paper with all the amenities rather than explaining everything to us at check in. So in general, I wish the front desk staff were more friendly.

Summary: Everything was perfect. The room, was large, clean, had a comfy bed, and had all the comforts you could ask for. The staff was amazing. The property was lovely, very quaint and extremely quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the breakfast they served. I would def. recommend this hotel.

Summary: Liked room and amenities. TV difficult to use...some instructions would help. Very nice breakfast and gracious server. Good location within walking distance to shops. Easy parking. Agood overnight choice.

Summary: Magnificent! Everything about this hotel is wonderful, it is an underrated, first class, gem. The rates are very reasonable, making it an exceptional value. We stayed at two different hotels on this trip the Genevieve and another, both similarly rated. However, the Genevieve was miles ahead on every level. I’ve stayed at some very fine hotels, in many parts of the world and The Genevieve is right up with the best of them. The nice thing about this hotel, it has all that you would expect from a luxurious, first class accommodation, but without the pretentiousness. It is quiet, comfortable, a place you immediately feel relaxed. The architecture, grounds and interior are beautiful, private and accommodating. The only unfortunate thing, our stay was on the two days The Victor is closed, won’t make that mistake on our next visit.
