Positive: The flat was very beautifully appointed. Very tastefully decorated. There are some beautiful potted plants too. We got a pair of beautiful Dahlias in full bloom. My sister-in-law was so happy that she even watered the plants. The earlier complaints from other guests about only one geyser and no handrail for the stairs are all gone. There are new handrails. And both bathrooms now have a geyser. The new one was set to 51 degrees and I had climb on a chair to change it to 75 to get some real hot water. But that's just a small niggle. Again the shower heads were both jammed. So they were pretty useless. Had to take a bucket bath. But that's again a small niggle. Both rooms had room heaters and if you left it running for about 3 hours, it was heating up the room enough for comfort. The outside temperature was about 11 or 12 degrees. The kitchen was well stocked with equipments, crockery and cutlery. I wish there was a microwave too. But we managed with the induction heater and the stainless steel bowls that they had. The owner even agreed to extend the stay by another 12 hours for a 66% extra charge. Normally the hotels would charge you for a full day. Overall a great place to stay and true value for money, if you are fine with ignoring the little niggles.

Negative: I wish the approach road could have been better. But the owners have little control over it. For future guests, don't get scared by the look of the approach road and the houses surrounding the property. That's just a reverse of a "Windows Demo", if you know this term from the 90s. :-) You may feel "Where the hell have we come to? Are we at the right place?". But don't worry, just enter the massive steel gate at the entrance and your experience starts to improve with every few steps.

Positive: Spacious, well decorated ,furnished rooms. Toilets neat and clean with hand wash bottle, shampoo ,body wash. Sunlight in early morning. Spacious balcony. All amenities provided including locker for entry key. Wifi supported. Kitchen with filtered water ,utensils,oven,kettle , plates etc. It's home away from home. Assistance required is minimal.

Negative: Approach is little rough, earthen topped with small stones 60m away from main road. However autorickshaws are easily available and can enter well inside the complex without any difficulty. The property is little away from central Gaya but not too far. In one way, this makes it attractive .The property perhaps has few private longtime occupants/tenants. These needs to be separated , if possible. Providing washing machine also will enhance value and attractiveness.

Summary: Never thought such facilities could be found in Gaya.

Positive: Very comfortable and spacious with modern amenities. Nice, long balcony. Car parking space.

Negative: Access to the building from the road is cumbersome and cows sometimes block the road. The labd adjacent the building is used as a garbage dump. Staircase to the flat needs to have a railing on the wall and rails on the other side. Attached bathroom does not have hot water. We had to bring it in from the common toilet.
