Positive: We had a great stay at Nilam Guest House! We arrived very late (around 11:30 pm) and Sumit kindly waited for us. He helped us exchange money and told us where to get SIM cards the next day, which was really helpful after a long trip. The room and bathroom were very clean, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there was hot water too. Sumit and his family are truly wonderful people — kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We felt at home from the very first moment. Thank you so much for everything! 🙏✨

Positive: This is my fourth visit to Bodhgaya in the last 30 years. Nilam Guest House is a place of cleanliness, kindness, and security. Set slightly back from the road, the guest house is more peaceful than others in the area. It is within walking distance for the Mahabodhi Temple, restaurants, and chai stalls. Just outside the guest house is a small but very active local Hindu Temple that is a place of devotion and tranquillity. Sumits mother kindly makes lovely chai with biscuits. I booked for one night and stayed for two months. I will also return early next year.

Positive: The young manager, Smith, was excellent. He helped me to continue my trip by finding me an ATM machine that worked and so I could access my money when in other I couldn't do this. The room was spotless and Sumit assisted me with ordering food.
