Positive: The place is charming; a quintessential old New England cottage not far from a pictures postcard ocean harbor The home is clean, beds are comfortable and kitchen well stocked. There are two additional outbuildings for enjoyment during the spring, summer and fall months, as well as outdoor seating around a firepit. It's apparent the owners continue to put thought into providing a great stay for their guests.

Negative: The cottage is cold this time of year. In fact, with outside temps. between 10 and 32 degrees, the house was uncomfortably cold. Forced hot-air heating in a drafty, likely uninsulated cottage, is not ideal. The floors were absolutely freezing and the electric fireplace ineffective. In my opinion, potential winter renters should be warned that this might be the case so they can make an informed decision regarding the property.

Positive: Great location, all the comforts of home. 2 out buildings for the kids to explore. Excellent communication on how to access the home and what to do if there is a problem.

Negative: It was really cold the weekend we were there and couldn't use 2 of the twin beds. They are in a sunroom that had a space heater, unfortunately it wasn't strong enough to heat the room enough to sleep out there. We had to get creative with our sleeping arrangements. If it was wamer it would have been perfect.

Positive: I loved we were able to come together around the fire pit outside and enjoy one another

Negative: that it was so hard to get in touch with someone our reservation got canceled for the night before so when myself and 6 kids got close to town at 3 am the company kept saying they couldn’t help finally got in 6-7am but still laid ful price for night before it was really fusterating
