Inside the lofty, beamed, open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area, has a wood burning stove and French windows. Outside is a huge decked terrace with table and chairs, and panoramic views to Dartmoor over the owners' 205 wooded acres. Centrally located for exploring Devon, The Cottage is a peaceful base in lovely countryside.

Summary: The cottage was comfortable and beautifully laid out, with everything you could ask for in terms of comfort for a family break. The owners were around if we needed them and so lovely, but mostly kept themselves to themselves so as not to intrude on our privacy. Some very friendly cats too! A truly relaxing and peaceful break - even with three kids in tow! Lots to see and do in the area. Would definitely return, thank you so much!
