Summary: This was our second stay at colonies at Williamsburg enjoyable. We missed the lazy river at the pool this year and had some issues with our television in the living room that did not work throughout our stay, but the property was clean and we would likely stay again.

Summary: We loved our stay here! The two bedroom was perfect for our family. The kids loved both of the pools and all of the extra activities that were available. The staff were all friendly, everything was clean, and there was plenty of parking. We are looking forward to returning.

Summary: We usually stay at a different resort, but found a great deal at the Colonies. It's amazing for families. There is a small water park, playground, and arcade. Not far from the resort is an indoor bounce house. There are also many food options nearby. The buildings are secure and the grounds are well maintained. Check in was quick and easy. There's no hassle to buy anything, which was great. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Summary: Our family of four had a wonderful stay. We only stayed one night, but plan to come back when we are in Williamsburg again. The property was well maintained and felt very safe. We really enjoyed all the amenities. The pool areas were definitely a big win for our kids! The rooms were spacious and clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen for just one night of staying there, but it was well stocked. I defy appreciated the coffee in the lobby. No complaints!

Summary: Upon check-in, I learned the property was pet friendly. I am so excited to return with my fur babies. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The air was perfect. I will definitely come back!

Summary: My kids were in the indoor pool and a another guest told us no one should go in there due to a bathroom accident. There were no signs, but hotel management was notified. When an employee appeared we asked about this and employee confirmed this was the case and no one should swim. When we asked about a sign, or any physical notification, the employee said there's no way of notifying guests, which was shocking to us. On our way out, we clearly saw other guests head to the indoor pool unaware it was unsafe to swim. Gross! -Steve P.

Summary: We had a great family stay here. Seeing the water park and amenities gave me the push to book here versus another cheaper option. So glad we did. The room was perfect. Very large, my daughter got to have her own room and bathroom, and the master had an en suite as well. Nice big kitchen with everything you need. The outdoor pool area was clean, tons of seating, and super fun. We even used the indoor pool later in the day once the sun went down (it’s open until 10!) for a little fun before bedtime with our 5 year old. The staff was super nice, especially the sweet girl who was working the towel area outside, she went looking for a floatie for my daughter. Able to have an extra hour at check out for no additional cost. We will definitely book here again when we come back next year!
