Summary: Cheap, but lots of small issues: Lock on room kept randomly beeping until I changed rooms Windows wouldn’t fully shut Tv remote not working Bedside lamps not working Main bedroom light flickering and buzzing Not that clean, particularly the bathroom View of a boarded up ruin of a hotel opposite But… nice and quiet at night A comfy bed Great parking

Summary: Room was comfortable & clean, but quite small. Lovely grounds & woodland to walk in or have picnics. Very good base to tour the National park

Summary: Nothing like described But we paid £60 a night room was pretty good comfy bed and en-suite sky to some where to get your head down after daily travels bargain .

Summary: It advertised meals but only did breakfast and the hot water took 10 to 15 minutes to reach the shower which was not explained at the beginning of our stay. Bedside lamps not working. Two single beds pushed together to make a deluxe double bed with a hard ridge down the middle. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Summary: This could be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately the facilities are very lacking. This hotel doesn’t serve lunch or evening meals as they don’t have a chef yet. As this place is a bit out of the way it wasn’t what we were expecting. We had paid for 2 nights but left after 1. We booked a deluxe room with garden view. Deluxe it definitely was not. The shower cubicle had the previous guest hair on the walls. Not for us and we wouldn’t return. Could be a fabulous place. Hats off to the guy running the place who seems to be the receptionist, cleaner, barman & breakfast cook rolled into 1.

Summary: The bed was soft, one size. Personel was only one men, very kind. There is only breakfast, no dinner..For one or two nights is oke. You can walk in the park or in Notterburn self.
